15 years ago tomorrow the Lord rescued me from utter darkness! What joyous memories tomorrow brings. I can still remember the day with profound clarity.
Never had I known the kind of peace that rushed my heart on October 22, 1994. Nothing the world had to offer compared. And believe me, I gorged myself on much of the world’s suggestions. Perfectionism didn’t do it. Materialism didn’t do it. Drugs didn’t do it. Illicit relationships didn’t do it. Manipulation didn’t do it. Body image didn’t do it… nor tanning or cigarette’s or fancy things or celebrity obsession. Nothing at all did it like Jesus.
He’s still doing it too!
Thank you Jesus for rescuing my wretched soul. You have been more than good to me. I will never ever be the same because of Your great love. You are my hero and You make me want to dance. I never dreamed life could be this wonderful. You picked up such shattered pieces when you saved me and there is nothing I could ever say that would be enough to thank You for putting the pieces of my life together the way that You have. The only thing that seems remotely fitting is to offer up my life once again as an offering.
Here I am Lord Jesus. All Yours, and so thrilled to be!
Without you, where would I go to Sunday School when Cas is out of town?! Nothing beats yours. Oh Tammie, so thankful He rescued you, I love you so much.

I can hardly remember that far back. It seems like you have always been a Christian. But, I of all people, saw firsthand the miraculous change God did in you. It was not only a change from the inside but a drastic change to the outside. There was definitely no hiding Jesus in you. I love you dearly.
